The Rotary Club of Rajdhani handed over six dialysis machines to B&B Hospital. These machines were received through a Rotary International Global Grant. The dialysis machines will help patients with kidney failure by artificially performing the function of purifying the blood, which is typically done by healthy kidneys.

The event was attended by former Rotary District 3292 Governor Basudev Golyan, DRFC Kumud Tripathi, Assistant Governor Rajbhai Suwal, ARRFC M.K. Jha, and hospital founders Dr. Ashok Baskota and Dr. Jagdish Baidya. The hospital founders expressed gratitude for the life-saving equipment, which will benefit financially poor patients from across the country who require dialysis.

DRFC Kumud Tripathi highlighted the contribution of Rotary clubs worldwide in making this possible, while Assistant Governor Rajbhai Suwal emphasized Rotary's commitment to community service. ARRFC M.K. Jha acknowledged the support of the Rotary Club of Raipur Royal International Partner and Engineer Surendra Mathema, as well as the Rotary Foundation's Global Grant.

Rotary Club of Rajdhani President KP Upadhyay praised the collective efforts of ARRFC M.K. Jha, the service committee chair, former president Pradip Kumar Shrestha, the hospital administration, and club members in securing the Global Grant within a month.

The six dialysis machines, costing $54,600, are providing daily dialysis services to 18 patients at B&B Hospital, a 300-bed facility with 26 departments. Patients undergoing dialysis have praised the hospital's services and expressed gratitude for the free dialysis facility, which has given them a new lease on life.
